Zimbabwe’s Refugee Crisis

On assignment for Médecins Sans Frontières, Austin followed in reverse the route taken by Zimbabweans fleeing the collapse of their country, from the downtown refugee camp at the Central Methodist Church in Johannesburg, where 4000 recent arrivals would sleep every night at the time the project was undertaken in 2009, to the wild crocodile-infested Limpopo River forming the border between Zimbabwe and South Africa.
